The last few days

The past few days have been a whirlwind of visitors and family. Canada Day celebrations, strawberry picking, long walks, camping, good food and lots of fun.

Including ourselves we had 11 people in the house for a couple of days. It was marvelous!

C had a fantastic time with a few of her Aunts & Uncles. Her nap time has increased quite a bit after all of the excitement!

Watching my children playing and laughing with my brothers and sisters is the cutest thing. My parents adore those two little girls and its beautiful to watch everyone together.

We went out for lunch on Canada Day and took up four tables which had been put together. That was only part of the family. If everyone was to get together we would have to rent a hall. That doesn't even include my husband's side!

The next few days will be full of strawberry picking and preserving. Before you know it the vegetables will be ready and canning will commence.

The motel was full last night. There were two weddings in town, one which we were invited to but weren't able to make it. Can't wait to see the photos!

And my kids are eating the strawberries we picked yesterday. I'm wondering if I would recognize you if I saw you in the patch. Weird to think, isn't it?

I don't think we'll have a thing left to preserve. So far we've eaten eight pounds!
