Friday

Yesterday was FULL. Raymond was busy with the most infuriating case of wiring you could ever imagine. Thank goodness he is the genius he is otherwise we would have paid a fortune for an electrician. (I'm not bragging he truly is a genius).

Went through a bunch of papers on my desk, replied to emails, left messages, took some bookings while balancing a baby on my hip. Washed and dried 3 loads of laundry (no I didn't put it all away, have to save something for tomorrow). Managed to sneak in an ENTIRE yoga session from start to finish which is truly a miracle with two little ones! (Thank you Brian Kest for my aching muscles I am beginning to feel the affects).

Made pita pizzas for lunch. Put the kids down for a nap.

Baked and frosted some chocolate cupcakes for a birthday party.

The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm enough to leave our coats behind, so we went for a stroll to our local provincial park.

There was still traces of snow and C happened to get stuck in some.

After introducing C to the chipmunk, I learned that she, #1 thinks they are funny and #2 is scared of these furry creatures. Who knew?

The water was raging

Then we saw a rainbow.

Walked around the ENTIRE park

After coming home, I realized I forgot to pick something up from the store, went back out, came home, made dinner, put C to bed and then spent the rest of the evening relaxing with my husband and a much needed glass of Pinot Grigio.

AND THEN I ATE THAT CUPCAKE!
Wow, that's kind of trippy - there it is for everyone to see and I ate it earlier today. And it was yummy.

I need to take my monsters to the park soon. Maybe we should go together on the next nice day?

Life sounds simply blissful. The rainbow, the chipmunk, the defrosting snow, the cupcake and your words have put a big smile on my face. How lovely!
